Warranty Information

Warranty Information

Products sold by Caldwell Air may be covered by the applicable manufacturer’s limited warranty. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer, product line, model, configuration, and required maintenance or start-up conditions.

Caldwell Air does not provide a separate product warranty beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist customers with submitting warranty claims to the manufacturer or supplier, but warranty approval, coverage, remedy, and timing are determined by the manufacturer or supplier.

General Warranty Guidance

Warranty coverage is product-specific and may be different for compressors, dryers, filters, parts, accessories, tanks, pumps, motors, or other components.

For some products, warranty coverage may require proper installation, correct voltage selection, use of approved lubricants, purchase and use of required start-up kits, documented maintenance, and compliance with the manufacturer’s operation and maintenance manual.

Some products may have different warranty periods for the pump, tank, package, parts, accessories, or extended warranty kits. Please refer to the product page, quotation, manufacturer documentation, or contact Caldwell Air for product-specific warranty details before ordering.

Brand-Specific Notes

ROLAIR warranty terms are generally limited to one year from the date of purchase or eighteen months from the date of manufacture, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Warranty coverage is subject to ROLAIR’s applicable terms, conditions, exclusions, claim procedures, installation requirements, maintenance requirements, and approval.

Caldwell Air does not provide an additional ROLAIR product warranty of its own.

INGERSOLL RAND / ACF-supplied equipment warranty terms vary by product. Unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer, equipment may be covered for twelve months from the date the equipment is placed in operation, or eighteen months from shipment, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

The Ingersoll Rand / ACF terms also state that parts warranty is generally six months and equipment warranty is generally twelve months.

The buyer must promptly report any warranty issue in writing. The applicable warranty provider may, at its option, correct the nonconformity by suitable repair or furnish a replacement part, provided the equipment has been stored, installed, maintained, and operated in accordance with good industry practices and applicable recommendations.

Accessories or equipment manufactured by others may carry only the warranty provided by the original manufacturer and only to the extent that such warranty can be passed through.

Warranty does not cover repairs, replacements, adjustments, or labor performed by the customer or others without prior written approval.

Corrosion, erosion, and normal wear and tear are excluded.

Performance warranties are limited to those specifically stated in a written proposal or applicable manufacturer documentation.

Caldwell Air does not provide an additional Ingersoll Rand / ACF product warranty of its own.

What May Void or Limit Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may be voided, limited, or denied due to improper installation, incorrect electrical supply or voltage selection, improper storage, lack of required maintenance, use of non-approved lubricants, parts, filters, or fluids, unauthorized repairs or modifications, corrosion, erosion, normal wear and tear, misuse, damage in transit, environmental conditions, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s manual and recommendations.

Warranty remedies are generally limited to repair, replacement, or another remedy approved by the manufacturer or supplier. Warranty claims do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, replacement unit, cancellation, or reimbursement of third-party costs.
